Principal's Message

  • Principal's Message — May 2021

    Welcome to May Miller Mustangs!

I can't believe it is already May!  We have accomplished so much during such a difficult year and I am so happy that we have all come through it OK.  Thank you so much for supporting Miller through such an odd school year.

If you are returning next school year and have not completed registration, please register online through ParentVUE.  If you can't remember if you did or you don't remember how to access ParentVUE, please call Ms. Anna to check.  Your child must be registered to be placed on a class list for next year.  Also, if you want your child to attend summer school they need to be registered with Miller beforehand.  We want to make sure everyone is ready!  If you are interested in summer school, please see the link below for registration paperwork.

Register for Summer School!  It is free and open to all students.  Please use the link below to fill out the registration form and submit to

    Summer School Registration Paperwork

If you have a student going to middle school next year it is important that the registration is completed ASAP so your child's schedule can be built.  If you applied for a magnet or open enrollment placement and have not heard back or have questions, please call School Community Services at 225-6400.

We will be holding a drive-thru fifth grade promotion ceremony on the last day of school starting at 9 am.  This will give both in-person and virtual students a chance to come on campus to say one last goodbye. More specific details to come soon.

If you have any questions about anything going on this month, please contact our front office at 520-908-4200.  Also, always check out our Facebook page, website, and class messengers for the latest information.

What Makes Us Special

Miller Elementary is committed to maintaining a positive learning community where students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for contributing to a multi-cultural society.

Teachers use arts and technology as tools to help connect with children. The Opening Minds through the Arts (OMA) program incorporates language arts, math, social studies and science into visual and performing arts programs. Every class has access to an interactive electronic response system that teachers can use to gather student opinions and generate discussion topics.

Miller also values parent and community involvement. The school has community representatives who encourage parents to be involved in the school, and families are invited to monthly meetings on topics that relate to their children’s education.
